Ⅰ.What is the Eccentric Plug Valve?

Eccentric Plug Valve achieves the opening and closing of the valve through the eccentric motion of the plug. The core feature of it is: the rotation axis of the plug body is offset from the geometric center by a predetermined distance. The plug disengage valve seat quickly during the opening of the plug valve, and gradually tighten the final stage of during the closure of the plug valve.

Ⅱ.Strcuture Features

Eccentric design: there is a eccentric distance between valve sealing surface and plug rotation shaft. When clsoing, the plug and the valve seat became tighter and tighter as it turned to ensure the tightness of the seal. When opening, the plug and seat separate quickly, reduce the friction and extend the service life of the valve.

Overall rubber-coated plug: the plug is made of ductile iron framework + high-performance rubber. This design increase the resilience of the seal and prevent the rubber from peeling and erosion corrosion problems.

Special corrosion-resistant valve seat: according to different working condition, we can choose the pure nickel, stainless steel or other special materials as the seat material. By new surface treatment technology to withstand the erosion and corrosion of various media.

Rectangular straight-through flow channel: straight-through flow channel design make the lose of water head very low. The flow passage of the seat is rectangular, this help to achieve linear regulation of flow rate. And the large rectangular size and flow channel self-cleaning design make it suitable for sewage environment containing solid impurities.

Integrated valve shaft: The valve shaft and the plug are integrated casting and which enhances strength and the stability of torque transmission, at the same time, it eliminate the risk of failure of the traditional plug valve shaft pin.
