Zhengzhou Jinggong Technology Valve Co., Ltd. has completed a comprehensive technological upgrade of its butterfly valve product line.

The biggest highlight of this upgrade is its complete alignment with a full set of stringent European industrial standards. With systematic upgrades across six core areas, this series of butterfly valves has successfully obtained all the necessary "passports" to enter the EU market. Whether in precision industries such as water treatment and pharmaceuticals, or in traditional HVAC engineering projects, this upgraded butterfly valve can provide fully compliant and stable fluid control solutions.

For various engineering projects in Europe, it can be considered a highly adaptable and essential domestic valve. As a high-tech enterprise with a deep foundation in China, Zhengzhou Jinggong has accumulated over 40 years of experience in valve R&D and manufacturing. This comprehensive technological overhaul of its product line is a key step in its push into the high-end European market, adhering strictly to authoritative EU standards from initial structural design to production line deployment. The core design of the new butterfly valve, featuring a "fully compliant" closed-loop system of qualifications and documentation, fully encompasses the EN 13709:2010 industrial valve standard, the EN 1092-1 flange standard, and is compatible with EN 558-1 structural length and EN 12266-1 testing specifications. This means it not only meets EU CE certification but also fully complies with the stringent requirements of the PED 2014/68/EU Pressure Equipment Directive.

To address the most demanding project acceptance, qualification bidding, and cross-border customs clearance processes for European clients, Jinggong has moved beyond its previous simplistic documentation approach and now provides a complete set of technical documents. This includes not only official material certificates and authoritative third-party testing reports but also multilingual installation and maintenance manuals, saving foreign trade companies and overseas clients the hassle of being blocked from customs and project inspections due to incomplete qualifications.

This upgrade, specifically tailored to European operating conditions, is not merely a superficial cosmetic overhaul. It involves meticulous adjustments to core components such as valve body material, flange fitting precision, sealing system, and valve shaft structure, tailored to the specific piping environment in Europe. Material traceability: The valve body utilizes EN 1.0619 (S235JR) and EN 1.0625 (S275JR) European standard carbon steel, strictly adhering to the EN 10025 series material specifications. Furthermore, it provides material certificates compliant with EN 10204 3.1, ensuring a clean and fully traceable source of raw materials. Zero installation error: The flanges are manufactured according to EN 1092-1, featuring RF raised face flanges with precisely calibrated sealing surface dimensions and bolt hole layout, enabling seamless connection with most currently operational pipelines in Europe. Zero Leakage Targeting: The sealing system employs a multi-layer composite process, achieving a leakage rating of ANSI/FCI 70-2 Class V, specifically designed to handle the near-obsessive "zero leakage" requirements of water treatment and pharmaceutical industries. Hardness and Interchangeability: The valve shaft is made of 42CrMo alloy steel and nitrided for enhanced strength, achieving a surface hardness exceeding HV800. Combined with "double O-rings + lip seals," it offers maximum corrosion and leak-proof performance. Furthermore, the product's structural length strictly adheres to EN 558-1 series 20/13 standards, ensuring universal interchangeability with pipelines and saving time and effort for on-site installation.

Say Goodbye to Interlocking Issues, Seamless Integration into European Automated Factories: European factories generally have a high level of automation. Traditional domestically produced valves often experience signal incompatibility and system interlocking issues when shipped over. To address this, Zhengzhou Jinggong specifically optimized the matching logic between the carbon steel valve body and the electric actuator. The new product features ample torque margin (with a built-in 1.3 times safety torque) and comprehensively covers all diameters from DN50 to DN1200 and all pressure ratings from PN6 to PN25. The R&D team optimized the actuator's speed and starting torque operating curves, taking into account the thermal expansion characteristics of carbon steel, effectively preventing interface loosening or valve malfunction due to temperature changes. In terms of communication protocols, the equipment fully supports mainstream European industrial protocols such as Modbus RTU and PROFIBUS DP, enabling seamless integration with local DCS control systems and perfectly matching Industry 4.0 smart production lines. Furthermore, the entire unit achieves an IP67 high protection rating, comes standard with over-torque protection, and offers optional power-off reset, easily handling outdoor or harsh workshop conditions.

Stringent Extreme Testing: To ensure that every valve leaving the factory is of the highest quality, the new butterfly valve underwent rigorous testing in an EU-accredited third-party laboratory: Pressure and Sealing: It withstood a shell pressure test of 1.5 times the nominal pressure and a sealing pressure test of 1.1 times the nominal pressure, with a pressure holding time exceeding 5 minutes and no leakage throughout. Internal Defect Detection: Through spectral analysis, tensile impact mechanical testing, and UT/MT non-destructive testing, flaws in raw materials were filtered out at the source. Lifespan and Weather Resistance: After 5000 cycles of opening and closing durability testing, the sealing performance showed no significant degradation.

Surface Corrosion Protection and Environmentally Friendly: The valve body surface protection process fully complies with the European ISO 12944 corrosion protection standard, employing a double-layer protection of epoxy zinc-rich primer and polyurethane topcoat, with a coating thickness exceeding 120μm. Before spraying, the valve body underwent Sa2.5 high-standard sandblasting for rust removal, resulting in stronger adhesion. It is worth mentioning that all non-metallic components such as EPDM and PTFE used in the equipment have passed the EU REACH environmental regulations, are free of heavy metals, and do not leach harmful substances, making them very suitable for high-end clean production environments.
